Best Time to Go
The best time to visit is between December and April on the Pacific Coast. The best time to visit the Caribbean side is between March and September.
The green season is May-June or November. This is when you catch the seasons in transition, and the national parks are quieter.
The vegetation is lush and it is quieter. September and October bring heavy rainfall.
